We are required to have an environmental policy to drive our EMS. Absolute has to recognise aspects of its business that impact on the environment and understand the environmental laws that are relevant to what we do. ISO 14001 also requires us to set ourselves objectives to continually improve our environmental performance. We then have to plan how we are going to achieve these targets and provide an accountable management structure that is responsible for documenting, operating, measuring, reviewing and recording our performance.
