Not prepared to follow but instead challenge their rules of what was the norm, these characters rewrote the rules of how things should be done and in doing so set new standards for others to achieve, aspire to or emulate.

Maybe the most driven athlete in action sports, Palmer doesn't believe in top 10 or even top 3... it's all about the win, and it's all or nothing. Destroying the egos and images of skiers and bikers by dominating their sports for fun while leaving his tattooed punk “F**k you!” mark wherever he strapped in or saddled up. Palmer blurred the boundaries.
